WEST COUNTRY GAME FAIR

Arrangements for the Somerset Smallholders Associationto attend the Game Fair, which is to be held at the Royal Bath & West Showground, are progressing well.
I met with Lisa Scattergood of Contour Exhibitions in October to go over details regarding our location. Following last year's Show I received feedback from stallholders on how they felt the Show could be improved (in terms of our location and space) and I feel that Lisa has taken our observations on board, ie better signage, banners etc.

One big change this year for any food producers who attend is that Contour will be charging £40 + VAT per table for the whole weekend for the sale of foodstuffs.
This fee has to be paid one month before the show to Contour & is non-refundable.
Whilst I realise this is a lot of money to take into consideration I do feel it represents good value as food pitches in the main hall are charged £44 per square metre + VAT per day!

Some members who attended last year have already confirmed that they would like a pitch again this year
and I am working my way through my notes and will be contacting the rest of you in the New Year.

If you have camper vans etc you are permitted to stay overnight on site.
