Smallholders Association
events (SHA) are held monthly at Ruishton Village Hall,
Cheats Road, Ruishton, Taunton TA3 5JD at 7.45 pm for 8.00
pm unless otherwise stated. (OS Grid ref: ST 267 249)
Entry is free to members.
Visitors are most welcome although we do make a charge of
£2.00.

All SHA members are most welcome to attend any of the
group meetings

It is intended to have a Smallholders Stand at many of the
summer agricultural shows - this is dependent upon
smallholders coming forward to man the stand and also
supplying produce and crafts to sell, even if you cannot
attend. Good photographs related to smallholding,
advertisements for your business and other promotional
literature are also useful and attract visitors to our
stands.

I am delighted to inform you that the Somerset Smallholders have been invited to attend the West Country Game Fair again next year. Those of you who attended will know what a great weekend we had - it can only be bigger and better next year!
I will be seeking volunteers to co-ordinate specific subject areas again so do let me know if you are interested. We certainly would like to have livestock there and will be applying to the relevant authorities for permission. The paperwork required is quite mind boggling (but you don’t need me to tell you that!). |
